Joy is the youngest of three childen. She has two siblings, Brother Michael, and Sister Georgette. Georgette is married and has two nieces who Joy loves dearly. Joy's parents divorced when Joy was young. Joy's father George is married to step-mother Monica. Joy's mother Cynthia is married to her step-father Gino.
Brett is the oldest of three children. Leah is married to Craig and has 4yr old triplets (2 girls and a boy). Markay is married to Blake and has a 4yo and 2yo boy with a girl on the way. Brett's parents divorced when he was in college. Brett's mother has been in a fun and exciting relationship with Dave, who has a close relationship with Brett. Brett's father Mark shares an office with him and married Brett's stepmother Lisa. Brett couldn't leave this without mentioning his Grandmother Mary (Meme). Brett is the only boy of 9 grandchildren leaving Mary and him with a very close relationship.

Brett started staying the night at Memes at 3 years old. Meme has always spoiled Brett from putting sugar on Captain Crunch as a kid, making weiner dog sandwiches, games, and legos. Grandmas was a place of fun. As Brett got older, he was spoiled with the use of her golf cart, and golf course. The years of collected golf balls in the lake were given to Brett which he used for nearly 10 years. Today, Brett and Meme still talk frequently, Brett fixes, maintains and supports things for his 90+ grandmother. Mary moved from Iowa to Phoenix when Brett was born and moved just last year to Littleton, CO. Unfortunately, Meme will not be able to attend Brett's wedding. |
